POST Board Approved Peer Support

This 30-hour course trains participants to be effective peer support team members. It covers peer support history, applications, and the importance of cultural understanding. Participants will learn to recognize stress, apply coping strategies, and follow best practices. The course also addresses crisis communication, substance abuse, grief support, and cross-cultural issues. This course meets the standards for the 30 hour POST BOARD APPROVED COURSE. This course will also aid in team development.
